Abstract
Urban regeneration. From abandoned city to smart landscape, returns an experience of scientific research and training, involving groups of students and young researchers from the universities participating in the Italian Interuniversity Consortium for Argentina (CUIA). The research project, aimed at developing new ideas, methods and practices for the regeneration of the cultural heritage and identity of Argentine and Italian cities, including the placement of a dual purpose: first, to develop new approaches conceptual design and to promote the regeneration of brownfield sites, on the other hand, explore new perspectives of urban communication can contribute to the transition to smart city, that is, to cities that they can use (able to use) social capital cultural and new media digital communications to improve the quality of life of citizens.
